Edward Aubery Pounders

It is with great sadness that the family of Edward A. Pounders is announcing his passing on February 26, 2024. He was born in Ashville North Carolina 11-15-46, he was the youngest of 12 siblings. He is preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Pounders, and his mother, Sadie J. Sellers.  Eddie loved the outdoors. He would wake in the morning and go straight out the door and start working on his cars or piddle in the yard.  He was always working on his hotrods and showing them to anyone who came over.  He was a man everyone loved and what meant most to him, his friends, and his family. 

He is survived by his wife Frances M. Pounders, son Roy and Missie Clark; daughters, Adreesa Massengill, Sarah Rowland & Wallace, Ann and Charles Bridges, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren and two on the way. And all of his Great Friends are family.

We will have a Celebration of Lift on March 23, 2024, at Oceanway Senior Center 12215 Sago Ave. Jacksonville Fl 32218 from 3 pm to 5 pm.
