Eleanor Evelyn Tennant Wakefield

Eleanor Evelyn Tennant – Wakefield, 83, passed away at home in Callahan, Florida on Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was born May 25th,1939 in Ogdensburg, NY, to the late John F. Earl and Helen Rheome Earl. The words loving, kind, caring and giving all describe mom as she would help all in any way possible. She especially made sure everyone had something to eat. If you needed help mom was always willing and would not take no for an answer. She was the foundation of our family always there when we needed her. She loved the holidays and cooking for her family and friends. All whom loved her dearly will never forget her humor, tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love and caring for them.

She was preceded in death by her spouse’s, Richard David Tennant and Roger Wakefield; her son,  David Jon Tennant; daughter, Pam Marie Mixon; sister, Wanda
Burdick; brothers, Mansel Earl and Carl Earl; grandchildren, Tisha Allen, Kaitlyn Tennant and Justin Shoup and her fur baby, Toto joined her shortly after her passing.. Eleanor is survived by daughters, Penny Millson (Rick), Peggy Smith (Shawn), Amy Burden (Darryl), Abby Davies (Allen), Tina Shott (Jim); sons, Ricky Tennant (Heather), Richard Tennant (Jessica),  George Wishart (Bernadette); many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held, date and time to be decided.
