Jarmon Elmer Loyde Jarmon, 86, passed away on Wednesday December 22, 2021. He was born in Guntersville, Alabama in 1935 to the late George and Martha (Crowe) Jarmon and has lived in Jacksonville since 1967. He graduated from Marshall County High School in Albertville, Alabama and was a Baptist by faith. His hobbies were fishing football especially the Florida Gators, he also loved spending time with family and most of all his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Millard, Leonard, Ralph, and Leamon Jarmon; sisters, Ollie and Jewell. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Cola Roberts Jarmon; sons, Randall Loyde Jarmon (Marianne), and Gary Keith Jarmon (Denise); daughter, Charlotte Denise Jacobs (Jake); grandchildren, Jake Jacobs, and Charlotte Smith; great grandchildren, Madison, Bella, Ethan, and Myles, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin, Jacksonville, with Rev. Bruce Armstrong officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm. Interment will be in Ferreira Cemetery following the service.
