Emmett “Big Daddy” Womack, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1947 to the late Emmitt and Annie (Jenkins) Womack and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Alagene Womack; sons, Alvin, Lee, and Richard Clements; daughter, Tiffeny Womack; grandchildren, Addis Sideris, Adam, Amber, Colton, Bella, and Victory Clements; great grandchildren, Jordan, Rileigh, and Serenity, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd in Jacksonville from 3-5 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home with Todd Norman officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery, Yulee, Florida.
