Erica Marie Blackburn

Erica Marie Blackburn, 45, passed away on Thursday, May 2nd at her home in Glen St Mary. She was born in Jacksonville Florida on October 25th, 1978. She grew up in both Baldwin and Maccleny and was a graduate of Baker County High School class of 1996 where she was, some would say, a theatre nerd. She loved to laugh and always had everyone around her laughing along. Erica was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include her daughter Chloe Blackburn and son Gavin Montgomery both of Glen St Mary. Her father and mother Jack and Wanda Gay (Cotney) Blackburn also of Glen St Mary; Sister,. Becky Johnson of Glen St Mary; nephew Jordan Johnson of Jacksonville; nieces Amber and Emily Johnson both of Jacksonville, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 8, at the First Baptist Church of Maxville with Rev. Gene Burnsed officiating. Interment will follow at Long Branch Cemetery, Maxville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening May 7 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, from 5 until 7 pm.
