Eva Mae Page Chandler “Mamaw” entered eternal life on August 12, 2022 at the age of 83 years young. She was born on March 9, 1939 to the late William “Poppy” and Lettie Craft Page in Bilvia, Kentucky (Craft Branch).
Mae married Bobby Eugene Chandler on August 25, 1956. They had 2 children together, Rhonda Jean Webb (Michael) and Bobby Michael Chandler (Kimberly). They raised their children in Payne Gap, Kentucky and moved to Bunnell, Florida in 1985, where she worked for Harris grocery for several years and retired from Hudson Technologies. Bobby preceded her in death on December 5, 2001.
Mamaw loved her family more than anything, she loved sharing stories and pictures with her friends. She was a diehard NASCAR fan and was always ready to make a trip to Kentucky or load a cruise ship. She loved spending time at the beach. Her life was full of love and laughter. She was a proud coal miner’s daughter. And if you knew her you would know she loved the color red and she disliked green.
Mamaw was blessed with five grandchildren, Eva Michelle Webb, Joshua Chandler (Connie),Jeremy Webb (Maranda), Ryan Chandler (Colleen) and Nicole Struble (Jerry); ten great grandchildren, Makayla Page (Dawson), Marissa, Chase, Tyler, Joshua “J.J.”, Elizabeth Eva Mae “Elie”, Laney, Jacob “Jake”, Brooklyn, Emerson, and two more on the way and one great great grandchild, Paisley.
Mae was preceded in death by; 3 brothers, Ralph, Martin, and Little Morgan; and her sister, Bernice.
Her desire was to enter heaven to be reunited with her beloved Bobby, her parents, and her siblings. She was saved and baptized in Jacksonville, Florida in November of 2013.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at 3pm in the chapel at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd. with Pastor Ken Barney officiating. Additional Services will be held Saturday, August 20th at 11 am in the chapel of Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky with Pastor Bill Craft and Pastor Rick Sturgill officiating. Interment will follow at Webb Cemetery in Mayking, Kentucky.
