Gary Lee Bohler “Roadkill”, age 72, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 7, 1951, to the late Edward Ray Bohler and Elfieda Mackey and has lived in Jacksonville, Florida for over 30 years and retired from JEA as a Crain operator. He was instrumental in planning the Maggie Valley Rides website for all the interested bikers and in 2009 starting the South East Raider Rally. He enjoyed fishing and hanging out at the local diner visiting with friends.
Survivors include his sisters, Jolynn Wars and husband, Shanon; Lori Adams and husband, Jimmy; brother, David Bartholdi, and wife, Melda; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 3 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Fl., with Reverend David Bartholdi officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 2 pm.
