George Edward Voncannon, Jr.

George Edward Voncannon, Jr., 37, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida where he had spent most of his life. He was born on October 20, 1983 in Syracuse, New York to George Voncannon, Sr. and Jessica (Deraway) Therriault. He was Baptist by Faith and graduated from High School at Frank H. Peterson Academy. He enjoyed working hard, had a big heart and most of all loved his family.

Survivors include his mother, Jessica Lynn Therriault; fiancé, Layla Elainee; 2 sons, George Voncannon III and Lyam Elainee; daughter, Addalynn Shay Voncannon; father, George Edward Voncannon, Sr.; brother, Brandon James Voncannon and sister, Ashley Voncannon.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 12 pm in Cedar Bay Chapel, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends at 11 am, one hour prior to the service.
