Grace Elouise Lee Johnson, 89, Jacksonville, Florida passed away on February 24, 2025. She was born in Blackshear, Georgia on March 21, 1935.
She was the daughter of the late Ada Mable Batten Lee and Henry Harrison Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Johnson, granddaughter Keli Johnson Kimmons, and great granddaughter Grace Hope Kimmons, two brothers, Ernest Lee and Verley Lee, and brother-in-law Kenneth Kicklighter.
Survivors include three sons: Stanley Johnson (Sharon), Bill Johnson (Carol), George Daniel Johnson (Tina), two daughters, Kimberly Clark (Terry), and Kathy Mohney. One sister, Iris Kicklighter, three brothers, Jimmy Lee (Sue), Sammy Lee (Hazel), and Wayne Lee (Patty).
Grandchildren: Jamie Ransom (Scott), Jimmy Johnson, Dana Quimby (Nick), Keri Kroger (Steven).
Great grandchildren: Emilie Kimmons, Jake Kimmons, Brantley Kroger, Emmie Kroger, Susie Barry, Hunter Barry, Audrey Johnson.
And great, great grandchild, Cooper Kimmons, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Grace was a loving mother, and homemaker. She raised five children and in later life was a caregiver for others. She was an avid gardener. She loved yardwork and flowers. She loved to share her vegetables and fruits from her garden. She also loved to bake and cook. She was a member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church and was a part of the faithful worker Sunday School Class.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 3rd, 2025 at Dunns Creek Baptist Church, 1425 Starratt Road, Jacksonville FL, 32218 at 11 am.
The Family will receive Friends from 10-11 am at the Church
