Haynes Moody Obituary

Moody Haynes Lee Moody, 71, passed away on Saturday July 31, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1950 to the late Charles Thomas, Sr., and Alice Louise Moody. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and was a longtime member of Westside Baptist Church of Jacksonville. He was a loving husband, father grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Carolyn Kathleen Moody; brother, Charles Thomas Moody, Jr., and wife Gayle; sisters, Cynthia Louise Compher and husband Danny, Alice Darlene Moody, and Sandra Lynn Knight and husband Tim; father in law Wayne Hires; and a host of other relatives and friends. Private graveside services with military honors will be held in Jacksonville National Cemetery. Arrangements by Cedar Bay Funeral Jacksonville.
