Herbert William Bennett

Herbert William Bennett, 74, left this life
surrounded by friends and family at UF Health on
Monday, December 18, 2023. Herbert was born
on September 7, 1949, in Jacksonville, FL, where
he resided until his passing. Survivors include his
wife, Lorena (Stroud) Bennett, and children,
Krysten, Kara, and a host of dear
relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by
his parents, Austin and Mary (Tunstall) Bennett,
his brother, Rufus Bennett, and sister, Mary
Frances Bennett. A graveside service will be held
at Dunn Creek Cemetery at 11 am on Friday,
December 22, 2023, with a viewing to begin at
10:30 am. Pastor Aaron Morgan will officiate.
