Howard Wilson

May 28, 1932 ~ March 10, 2024

Howard Wilson, a beloved husband, dad, grandfather great grandfather, and friend went to be with our Lord, peacefully in his sleep on March 10, 2024.  He was 91 years old. Born on May 28, 1932, in Manhattan, New York.  He moved to Florida at age 8.  Howard was a kind, generous, wise, and God-loving man. He touched the lives of many with his fun and loving nature. Throughout his life, Howard was hard-working and dedicated to his family and friends. We will all cherish the wonderful memories we made together. 

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Jane Wilson.  His children Chip (MaryJo), Brandt (Shirleen), and Janane (Pat) McQueen.  His 8 grandchildren, Brittany (Doug), Erin (John), Rebekka (Ben), Michael(Danielle), Andrew (Vale), Wil(Bridget), Sean, MaryAnn. And his seven great-grandchildren, Emmett, Amalia, Lana, Crue, Ellie, Timmy, and Noah. Two brothers, Richard (Dolores), Ronnie, and sister-in-law, Lucille, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. And his Buddy, a sweet, lovable chunk of a Chihuahua.

He was preceded to heaven by his parents, Earl and Hannah Wilson, his two brothers, Fred and Art,  his sister, Helen, and his sister-in-law, Gail.

Howard may have left this world and joined his heavenly father, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. If you knew him, you loved him! 

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024,  at 11 am at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd., Jacksonville, FL.  Followed by the graveside service at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Fl., at 1 pm where friends and family will celebrate the life Howard lived and share in his memories.
