Hugh Leighton Miller

Hugh Leighton Miller, 64, passed away on Friday June 8, 2018. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL. He was the owner of Awesome Muffler and moved to Kingsland, GA in 2006 until he retired in 2016 and closed the shop. He graduated from Ribault High School class of 1971. His hobbies included working on cars, welding, metal fabrication, drag racing and going to car shows. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his father, Byron Miller. Survivors include his mother Julia Deal; his son Robert Miller (Katie); sisters, Janie More and Margaret Drake; grandchildren, McKenzie, McKayla and Mavrick. And a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday evening June 11, from 6pm until 8pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL.
