James Franklin Darty

One Tuesday October 4, 2022 James Franklin Darty, a beloved husband and
father passed away. He was 79. Born to Mary Francis and William Darty in
Atwood, Tennessee. Frank graduated from Humboldt high school and moved to
Jacksonville in 1963 where he lived until he passed away. He owned and
operated Frank Darty Auto Sale at 5th and Main. He was a member of
Oceanway Assembly of God. Frank enjoyed boating and fishing on the St. John’s
River and watching the Gators and Jaguars play football. He loved having
holidays at his home and playing softball and football in the yard with the family.
He leaves behind his wife Patsy of fifty eight years, five children Terry (Dianna)
Darty, Beverly McMann, Kimberly Tourville, Robin (Brice Robert) Jones, and
Daniel (Belen) Darty. Six grandchildren Levon Guir, Miki Noble, Randi Jones
Greer, Heather Forester, Emily Darty, and Jameson Darty. Five
great-grandchildren. A sister Martha Higdon of Memphis and a brother William
Darty Jr. of Jacksonville. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date!
