Janis Lee Dorman

Dorman                             Janis Lee Dorman, 62, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday May 23, 2020. She was born in Jacksonville in 1957 to the late Robert E. Lee and Louise (Jones) Lee and has lived in Jacksonville all of her life. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Carlton Jones, and Gerald Jones. Janis attended Andrew Jackson High School. Janis loved spending time with her family and her dog LouLou . Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Michael Dorman; Sister, Donna Kaylor (Alton); mother in law Jo; brother in laws, William Dorman, and Christopher Dorman (Michelle), and several nieces and nephews and her best friend Penny. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 28 at 3pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral 405 New Berlin Road Jacksonville, with Rev. Steve Wolgamott officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery Callahan, Florida. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday starting at 2pm.
