Jarah Carolene Dixon Smith, 34, passed away June 13 th 2023 at 8:15 P.M. Born in
Jacksonville FL, January 4 th 1989 as a life long resident. Jarah was a homemaker, however,
loved her job as a mother the most. Jarah loved the outdoors and gardening but most of all
her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter Abbie Smith, grandparents Merlene
and Earl Dixon, and Lynnwood Anderson. Jarah is survived by her husband Phillip Smith, son
Phillip Smith Jr, daughters Kaelyn and Paetyn Smith, father Ricky Dixon, mother Amelia
(Stanley) Thompson, two sisters Julia (Shane) Prigden and Jacie Harrison, grandmother
Carolyn Jones, and many relatives and friends.
Services will be June 17 th 2023 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with family
receiving friends at 10:00 A.M. Family will accept guests for dinner and a gathering afterwards
at her grandmothers home Carolyn Jones at 4051 Starrat Rd Jacksonville Fl, 32226 to
celebrate the life of Jarah.
