Obituary

Jason Curtis Marlow, 57, passed away on April 14, 2025. Jason was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 14, 1968, the son of Curtis Junior Marlow and Wilma Fernald Marlow. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Gloria, his mother, Wilma (Larry) Huddleston, and his sister, Julie Marlow.

Jason was a loving dad to his three children: Forrest (Kayla) Marlow, Melissa (Bubba) Bennett, and Curtis (Samantha) Marlow; and a proud papa to his nine grandchildren: Fisher, Tucker, Forrest, Marina, Hannah, Carter, Caisen, Caleb, and Camdyn. He also leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends.

He learned carpentry at the Westside Skills Center and welding at Geiss Marine Center. Over the years, he worked as a carpenter, welder, trailer mechanic, machine operator, and commercial fisherman, but he was especially proud of his skills as a concrete man.

Jason’s love of music, the outdoors. and learning led him to the guitar, surfing, scuba diving, fishing, hunting, drawing, painting, cooking, reading, and gardening.  A natural storyteller, he never ran out of stories to tell or let a boring story sound like anything but an adventure.
