Jay Douglas Peel

Jay Douglas Peel, age 86, of Jacksonville FL. passed away on April 11,1923.
    He was born June 23 1936 to Mary Margaret Peel and Harry Fleming Peel in West Virginia. He was married to Paula Ann Peel for 63 years. He graduated from Wellsburg HS. Following high school he enlisted in the army and afterwards met the love of his life Paula Ann. They moved to Jacksonville in1969 and he went to work for Anheuser Busch where he retired. Jay enjoyed traveling, motorcycles, and fishing.
    Jay Peel was preceded in death by his parents and brother Harry F Peel. He is survived by his wife Paula Ann; sons, Mark Peel (Teresa) and Roger Peel (Beth); grandchildren, Jesse Peel (Rosina) and Jeremy Peel; great grandchild, Emilia Peel. Funeral services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 1:30 P.M. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5 until 7 pm.
