Kennison                                      Jerry Alton Kennison, 73, passed away on Saturday December 25, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville Florida in 1948 to the late Thomas and Avis (Gilliard) Kennison. Jerry was a veteran and served in the US Army. He was a Deacon of Community Baptist Church of Yulee and he loved working with wood, cars, and spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his brother Richard Kennison, sisters, Doris Ferguson, Pearl Olson, Lucille Owens, Katie Conner, and Francis Kennison. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sandra (Burrell) Kennison; daughters, Tracy Terry (Alex), and Tammy Paton (Robert); brothers Ronnie Kennison (Leanne), and Joe Kennison (Rovena); sisters, Daisy Newcomb, Lottie Martyn, and Nell Raulerson; grandchildren, Austin, Weston, Buddy, Kailey, Kylyn, and Rylan, and host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services with military honors will be held on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at 11am in the Community Baptist Church 85326 Winona Bayview Road, Yulee, FL., with Pastor Carl Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church starting at 10am.
