Jimmie Ray Baggett

Rev. Jimmie Ray Baggett, age 86 of Jacksonville, FL  went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 1,2023.  He was born in Erin, Tennessee on August 23, 1936 to James P. Baggett and Rena Baggett.  He was a minister for 68 years and pastored 10 churches during his lifetime.  He also built and managed several christian radio stations and hosted a television program called “Meet The Pastor”.

Jim is survived by his children, Pam Hodges, Danny Baggett (Von Nell) and Melodee Brooks (Randy).  Eight grandchildren; Mandy Hodges, Ryan Hodges, Justin Hodges; Danielle McManus, Dana Jenkins, Daniel Baggett; Ashley Bailey and Lauren Brooks.  He had 15 great grandchildren and one brother, Bobby Baggett.

Services will be held at the Church of Hope, 8950 Crystal Springs Road, Jacksonville, FL 32221 on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  with Pastor Danny Baggett and Rev. Ben Tippett officiating.
