John Alvin Dailey

John Alvin Dailey, 72, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1951 to the late John and Deloris (Morris) Dailey and has lived in Jacksonville all his life. He is preceded in death by his brothers, James and Wayne Dailey. John was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School class of 1969, He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, was a hard-working loving husband and best friend,  and he enjoyed hunting, and fishing, and loved the outdoors. But most important to him were God, family, and friends.  Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Vicki Jo Dailey; daughter, Karen Dailey; brothers, Daniel Dailey and Normen Dailey (Julie); sister, Deloris Dailey; granddaughter, Courtney Allen, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in Grace Baptist Church, 13290 Ranch Road, Jacksonville, FL., with Pastor Bill Forde officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday starting at 10 am.
