Hodge- John Hodge, Jr., passed away on June 28, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was 64 years of age and lived in Jacksonville for over 50 years with his wife, Carol Hodge and their three children: John, Priscilla and Paul.
John was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, on November 28, 1960. His parents’ names are John Hodge and Janie Hodge. John attended Andrew Jackson High School and learned the trade of welding and ironworking shortly after. He was a master welder for over 40 years.
Carol and John got married on March 1, 1981, in Jacksonville, Florida. They loved to go to NASCAR events and spend time with family. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was very family-oriented. He loved Ford trucks, especially his own.
John Hodge, Jr. is survived by his wife, Carol Hodge; children, John Hodge, Priscilla Hodge and Paul Hodge; grandchildren, John Wesley Hodge, Hailey Hodge, Kaylee DeCilles, Autumn Hodge, Payton Huddlestun, and Dillon Huddlestun; and great-grandchild, Tucker Coleman.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
