John Lenton Soles

John Lenton Soles, 65, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born in Rockhill, South Carolina in 1957 to John and Margaret (Williamson) Soles and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. John is preceded in death by his sisters, Cynthia Parrish and Willa Kahoon. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Ribera; sons, Tyler Black, Thomas Black, and Andrew Black ; daughters, April Merrow, , and Annmarie Black. Sisters, Kathy Carlisle, Susan McManus, Beverly Beard, Rita Malpass, and Jeannie Lawson; grandchild, Evan Kirby, and a host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives, and friends. John was a hard worker and loved working on cars, spending time with family and his dog Roxanne.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 12 noon in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Bob Soles officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 11 am on Saturday morning. Obit  is pending
