John William Wright

John William Wright of Jacksonville, Florida, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 71. He was born on June 10, 1949, in Moultrie, Georgia to Elder McKinley & Gladys (Ferguson) Wright. He lived most of his adult life in Jacksonville and was a member of Riverside Primitive Baptist Church.

John is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Wright. Survivors include his parents, Elder McKinley & Gladys Wright; brother, James Wright (Brenda); sister, Susan Skulskie; nephew, Ken Britt; niece, Jamie Wright and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service in honor of John’s life will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 12 pm at Riverside Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Lee Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Riverside Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
