Joseph Shane Osteen

Joseph Shane Osteen, 41, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born January 7, 1980 in Jacksonville, Florida where he lived all of his life. He was self-employed as a Painter. He was a loving father, son, brother, friend and will be dearly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wesley Luttrell. He is survived by his sons, Jacob Smith and Sean O’Connell; daughters, Alaina Osteen, and Shaina Osteen; mother Delores Ann Luttrell; longtime companion Shawna Hathaway, and mother in law Theresa Hathaway; brother, Stan Thomas; sisters, Nicole Lynn Thomas, and Ashley Ann Thomas; grandmother, Glinda Anderson, and his best friend, William Walls, and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 at 3pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with associate Pastor J. Harris Touchton officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm. Interment will be by cremation.
