Karen Diane Jackson

Karen Diane Jackson, 66 years of age, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 6, 1957, to the late Joseph M. Jackson and Elsie C. Jackson. She leaves behind 2 sons, Cisco Napier and Warren Napier, and 3 grandchildren, Tyler Calhoun, Caleb Napier, and Carra Napier. She also loved Cayla as if she was her granddaughter. She has two siblings, Janice H. Peterson (Gerald) and Richard K. Jackson (Elaine). She had cousins who grew up with her like siblings, Marie Hatcher (deceased), Patricia Jaggers, and Thomas Jackson along with many other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and friends. She loved her dogs, Jazz, Koala, and Scooby. They were the bright spot of her day but could drive her crazy at times. 

From the time she was a child, Karen was the life of the party. She could keep you laughing. She was also very protective of those she loved. She would go out of her way to help people. 

Karen attended Destination Church in Jacksonville, Florida where she recommitted her life to Christ and was baptized. She was in a life group there and enjoyed the friends she made. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she moved in with her sister and began attending Chets Creek North. 

Karen worked many jobs over her lifetime (mostly retail) and was always well-respected by her peers. She would go out of her way to make sure things ran smoothly and would work extra hours when necessary. 

Karen will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Cemetery 2600 Ribault Scenic Drive, Jacksonville Florida.
