Smith                                          Katherine Beatrice Smith, 96, passed away on Saturday July 18, 2020. She was born in Milan Georgia in 1924 to the late Brooks and Ada (Barfield) Butler. She has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilber Smith and sons Brooks Smith and Danny Johnson. Survivors include her son Wilber C. Smith, Jr; daughter, Vickie Young (Richard) daughter in law Debbie Smith; grandchildren, Tracy Smith, Kasey Smith, Katie Sims, and Lee Young; great grandchild Ciecla Sims, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at 2pm in Bachlott Cemetery in Hickox, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning, July 21 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Interment will be in Bachlott Cemetery, Hickox, GA
