Kay Sasser Obituary

Kay Fern Sasser 77 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away September 19, 2021.

Kay was born and raised in San Diego, California. Kay lived many places before settling in

Jacksonville, Florida. Kay retired as a business owner. Kay was also a known breeder of

Egyptian Mau cats.

Kay and Ken were married November 23, 1975. Kay and Ken had 46 wonderful years of

marriage.

Kay had many interests and talents. Kay had been an artist and taught art classes part of her

life. Kay loved being with her family especially her grandchildren and loved spending time

with all of her animals. Kay had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to dress up with her

family for holidays and parties.

Kay is survived by her children Ken Iselin, Phil Iselin, Jim Iselin (Lori Iselin), Kristine

Taylor (David Taylor), Kim Hall Yaeger, and Kirk Hall. Kay had 22 grandchildren and 13

great grandchildren. Kay had a sister Merie Maino. Kay was predeceased by her husband

Kenneth Sasser, her son Bob Iselin, parents George and Fern Reutlinger and brother Ronald

Reutlinger.

Kay will always be remembered for her love for her family, kind smile and great sense of

humor. Kay was a lady that everyone strived to be like, there will never be anyone else like

her.

Services will be October 19, 2021 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home. Family will receive friends

starting at 10:00 AM with the service starting at 11:00 AM. Followed by The National

Cemetery at 1:00 and a Celebration of Life after at 8966 Paxton Road.
