Kenneth Frederick Lederman

Kenneth Frederick Lederman, 96, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. He was born in Gilman, Illinois in 1927 to the late Hans and Alene (Meents) Lederman and has lived in Jacksonville since 1962. He was a Veteran and served in the US Navy.  He was a member of Oceanway Assembly of God, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy. Survivors include his sons, Tony Lederman (Susan), and Tracy Lederman; daughter, Candy Preston (Tommy); grandchildren, Kimberly Moore (Neil), Michelle Shaw  (Nate), Stacy Byous (Luke); great-grandchildren, Shelton Byous, Eryn Byous, Preston Shaw, Emma and Maeve Woodrum, Brandon and Bryce Moore, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11 am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Ken Barney officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday morning starting at 10 am.
