Kenneth Sasser Obituary

 Kenneth Flowers Sasser 75 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away September 1, 2021.

Kenneth was born in Goldsboro, NC and was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Ken joined the

Air Force in 1964 and honorably discharged in 1968.

Ken retired from the City of Jacksonville as a superintendent.

Ken and Kay were married November 23, 1975. Ken and Kay had 46 wonderful years of

marriage.

Ken had many adventures over the years and lived his life to the fullest. Ken was an avid

outdoorsman, hunter, fisher, diver and boat captain. Ken loved to be in the woods or on the

water.

Ken was survived by his wife Kay Sasser until she passed on September 19, 2021.

Ken is survived by his children Kristine Taylor (David Taylor), Ken Iselin, Phil Iselin, Jim

Iselin (Lori Iselin), Kim Hall Yeager and Kirk Hall. Ken had 22 grandchildren and 13 great

grandchildren. Ken had two sisters Barbara Sue Kaylor and Lawanna Jean Knezevich. Ken

is predeceased by his parents Kenneth Sasser Sr. and Lois O’Quinn Sasser, and son Bob

Iselin.

Kens family will always remember his love for his family and the outdoors, his strength and

support. There will never be anyone else like him.

Services will be October 19, 2021 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home. Family will receive friends

starting at 10:00 AM with the service starting at 11:00 AM. Followed by The National

Cemetery at 1:00 and a Celebration of Life after at 8966 Paxton Road.
