Larry Joe Nash, Sr.

Larry Joe Nash, Sr.,70, also known as “RB” on the CB Circuit, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1950 to the late John and Josephine (Page) Nash and has lived in Jacksonville all of his life. He was a veteran and served in the US Army, and he was a longtime member of Duval Station Baptist Church of Oceanway. He was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Barbara; sons, Larry Nash, Jr., (Sherry), John Nash (Marie); grandchildren, Johnie, Brooklyn, Travis, Ray, Shawn, Joseph, Dalton, and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Jessup, and Hunter; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 11 am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Jimmy Flanagan officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning starting at 10 am.
