Leona "Lea" Cole Reed

Reed                                   Leona “Lea” Cole Reed, 62, passed away on Wednesday February 19, 2020. She was born to Charles Jackson Hurst and Jacqueline Dorothy Cole in Jacksonville, Florida, raised by maternal grandparents Donald and Ruby Cole in Callahan, Florida and has lived in Yulee, Florida for the past 17 years. She was a member of Live Oak Baptist Church of Callahan Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all. Survivors include her husband Richard Reed; daughter, Kendill Joyner and husband Chris; son, Adam Mashburn and wife April; daughter, Jade Mashburn; brothers, Wolf and Randy Herzog, Doug, Rudy, Martin, and Ernie Cole; sisters, Lisa Herzog, Linda Knowles, Jane Crawford and Jacqueline Bean; her beloved grandchildren, Cooper, Riley, Dylan, Cove, Addison, Grayson, Jonah and Leona Almyn and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death is her sister Brenda Angle. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening February 22, 2020 from 6pm until 8pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida. There will also be a visitation held at Carbonton United Methodist Church, 5442 Goldston  Carbonton Rd, Goldston, NC, on Tuesday February 25, 2020 at 2pm with funeral immediately following at 3pm.
