Linda Bray

Linda Gayle Bray, 73, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born August 9, 1949 in Quincy Florida to the late Callie Zieta Holder and Morris Holder. Linda Gayle lived in Jacksonville for the past 70 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker for most of her life but also worked as an optical laboratory technician and manager for many years, which she retired from. She enjoyed cooking, praying, worshiping the Lord  and being around her family.
Survivors include her children, Sheila Morrison (Larry), Tammy Bray, Joseph F Bray III, Melinda Hunt (the baby), 14 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids. Graveside services will be held on Monday August 22, 2022 at 12pm in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, with Rev. Ken Barney officiating.
Our mama said “ NO FLOWERS !” They are too expensive and will only die! Instead, she requested that gift cards be given to her 4 children for restaurants, grocery stores or for gas as they grieve in the coming days.
