Lois M. Sikes

Lois M. Sikes, (Marie, Gaggie) 95 years old, went to be with her Lord and Savior
Sunday, September 15, 2024, in Hilliard, FL. She was born in Sanderson, FL on
September 8, 1929, to Lindley and Gracie (Bethea) Alderman. Lois was a loving
mother, sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was preceded in
death by her parents, brothers Lindley and Murry, sister Alice, husband Owen
Sikes, and sons David and Larry. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and
spending time with friends and family. Lois will be missed dearly by her sister Mary
Manasco; grandchildren Charles Sikes (Kassie), Catherine Kiick (Matt), Richard
Sikes (Elizabeth); and 6 great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family
members and friends. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, September
19, 2024, at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL
32218. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be at
Evergreen Cemetery.
