Lorelle Madeline Higdon, of Maxville Florida, was born on November 7, 1929, in Plant City, Florida. She went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of December 21st, 2023, in the comfort of her home. Lorelle married the love of her life, James Higdon on March 17, 1947, and started their large, loving family. Lorelle did many things in life but loved to fish and make the ones around her feel loved. She was many things to many people and precious to everyone who knew her.
Lorelle is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and George Colton; husband, James Higdon; siblings, Mary, Ruth, George II, Curtis, Grace, Lorene, Vinnie, and Olen; son, Martin; daughters-in-law, Ella and Debrah and grandson, Blane.
She leaves behind her legacy including her children, Joseph Higdon, Lonnie (Martha) Higdon, David (Jennifer) Higdon, Rita (Christopher) Hazelwood; grandchildren, JoJo (Wendy) Higdon, Kevin (Natasha) Higdon, Michelle Higdon, Josie (Warren) Sims, Tina (Nelson) Smith, Lisa Higdon, Holly (Jason) Higdon, Marty (Tiffany) Higdon, Tony Higdon, James Higdon, Colton Higdon, David Higdon Jr., Josh Higdon, Tonya Higdon, Chris (Lanna) Hazelwood, Carla (Matthew) LeClerc; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Dustyn, Holdyn, Cheyenne (Herman), Gracie, Briton, Zachary, Haley, Ruth, Grace, Ethan, Hughstin (Lake), Martin Jr. (Emily), Kearstin, Michelle (Scott), Seth, Austin, Dallas, Shyenne, Liberty, Case, Rylan, Gunner, Huntley, Mason, Taylor, Emma, Chloe, Bryan, Alyssa, Jayden, Addyson and Camdyn; great-great-grandchildren, Emily, Hagenn and Hampton.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at The First Baptist Church of Maxville with Reverend Richard Fish officiating. The family will be received at 11:00 am, open visitations will begin at noon. Services to start at 1:00 pm with fellowship and food following. Interment will follow at Long Branch Cemetery.
