Obituary
Lorena Stroud Bennett, 72, left this world on
Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Lorena was born on
February 18, 1952 in Atlanta, GA, residing in
Jacksonville, FL for most of her life. Survivors
include daughters Krysten and Kara, brother
Mike Stroud, and a host of relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52
years, Herbert Bennett, and parents, Lillian and
Kenneth Stroud. A viewing will be held at Dunns
Creek Baptist Church at 10am on Monday, July
22, 2024, with a service to follow at 11am. Pastor
David Malmberg will officiate. Lorena will be
privately laid to rest at Dunn Creek Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Cedar Bay
Funeral Home.
