Maria G. Rodriguez

On Thursday, June 28, 2018 Maria G. Rodriguez, 72, passed away in Harbor Harts Nursing Home. She was originally from Leon, Guanajuato, and was born November 15, 1945. She was a loving mother & grandmother. Everyone will miss her cooking, yelling at the kids, and her life stories. Lupe like she liked to be called or Abuelita Lupe is survived by her 3 daughters, Estela, Mari, Magdalena; grandkids, Christian, Isaac, Emilie, Abi, Giovanny, Antonio, Christine, Jose, Angelica (Jelly), Isa, Ana; and great grandkids, Dominic (Mexipino). 
God looked around his garden and He found an empty place. Then he looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful like you, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So, He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered “Peace be thine.” It broke out hearts to lose you. But you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you. The day God called you home.
This is not a goodbye but a see ya later. You will be very missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Victory Celebration Church, 3220 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 with Pastor Jim Matthews officiating.
