Martha Ann Nash, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2024. She was
born on June 25, 1942, to the Late Aline and Aubrey Mincey in Waycross, Ga. Martha was the
youngest of 9 - Naomi, Ruth, Deloris, Dereda, Lloyd, Zean, Junior, and James.
She was married at the age of fourteen to the love of her life - her Sweetheart,
William Clay (W.C) Nash. Singing for the Lord was her passion. No matter where she was, she
could be heard singing or humming her praise to God. Some of her greatest times and
memories were spent with the Gospel Sounds on their many adventures. Martha was loved
instantly by everyone that she met. She was the first to help when needed and the last to walk
out, just to make sure everything was taken care of. Her love for the mountains was like no
other. If you mentioned the smokies, she would be on the road with you. Family was Martha’s.
