Marveen Nelson Tingle

May 19, 1959 – December 12, 2024

Marveen Nelson Tingle, Daughter of John and Kathleen Nelson native of Jacksonville, Florida.  She was an energetic child that turned into a positive caring Wife and Mother.  Preceding in death her Dad John Nelson and Mother Kathleen Nelson.  Her son Keith Brooks Jr and her Husband Marvin Tingle.  She will be deeply missed by her Son Kevin Brooks his wife Debra and her only grandson Samuel Brooks and her special twin boys Michael Tingle and Marcus Tingle.   Her siblings Louise McDonald (Dana), Johnny Nelson (Denise) Matthew Nelson and many nieces and nephews.  

Marveen was very creative.  Her greatest passion was sewing and embroidering on her machines.  She made special random gifts to give to family, friends and even strangers just because she loves seeing others enjoy her work.   Her life was wrapped around her family, especially her boys.  She faced many struggles in life, but she met them with courage and no complaints.  She knew that God had a purpose for each challenge she faced in life, and it made her a strong faithful child, sister and mother.  Her favorite quote was “We should live everyday to be a better person than the person we were the day before. “

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2024, at 10:00AM Tison Cemetery.
