Mary Francis Merrow Cathey
Mary Francis Merrow Cathey returned home to be with our Lord on the 7th day of June, 2023.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 61 years, BMCM Johnie Glenn Cathey (2017). Always
saying 61 years just wasn't enough. Also her mother, Amy Vandella Lee Merrow (1992), and her father
Duncan Elroy Merrow (1986).
She is survived by her 6 children, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
She lived a long and very fulfilling life, taking care of her loved ones.
She will be greatly missed by many. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 2;30 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Fl., with Rev. Dave Malmberg officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at Cedar Bay Funeral Home from 6 pm until 8 pm.
