Michael Lamar Suber

Michael Lamar Suber, 73, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at home. He was born in Pavo, Georgia in 1949 to the late Lamar and Palma (Griffith) Suber and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Gale Suber; brothers, Marty and Ronney Suber. Survivors include his sons Terry Suber (Tangie), Ray Smith, and Billy Suber (Debbie); Daughters, Vicky Wynegar (Dave), and Deborah Bass (Rodney); brothers, Larry Suber, and Dale Suber (Tammi); sister, Debbie Cupp; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ceder Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL, with Pastor Tim Nelson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
