Minnie Echevarria Obituary

Minnie Jo Echevarria, 74, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1946 to the late Joseph and Minnie Bullington. She was retired from the Sears Company after many years of service. She was a longtime member of Highlands Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed arts and crafts and volunteering work for the underprivileged of Jacksonville. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Echevarria; son, Alan Echevarria; sister, Grace Wood, and her grandson, Joshua. Survivors include her son, Larry Echevarria (Dottie) of Callahan, Florida; daughters, Ronda Trepagnier (Stephen) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jennifer Walter (Phillip) of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Joseph Seligman, Wesley, Madeline, Natalie, Charles, Erica, Melody; great-grandchildren, Ivan, Michael, and Wyatt. And a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at 11 am in the Highlands Baptist Church, with Pastor Art Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday evening from 5 pm until 7 pm.
