Mozell Viola Masters

Mozell Viola Masters, 88, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Green Cove Springs, Florida. She was born July 12, 1932 in Albany, Georgia to the late Felix Blanchard and Winnie (Sanders) Blanchard. She has lived in Jacksonville for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Raymond Donald Masters, and brother, Alton Blane, sisters, Sue Peterman, and Nell Crawford. Mozell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include her sons, Robert (Bobby) Masters, and Henry Stanton. 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 8, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Jason Masters and Pastor Jim Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm. Interment will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
