Nyoka Hinton

Hinton – Nyoka Hinton, age 82, daughter of George William Henry and Annie Mae Davis, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and has resided in Jacksonville, Florida since 1965. Nyoka worked for JCPenney for over 50 years in their sales audit department and finally retired a little over 2 1/2 years ago.  She was a woman who truly loved her family and would go out of her way to help them when they needed it. Nyoka is going to be missed by so many people whose lives she touched while here on earth. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel!

Nyoka is survived by her 3 children, Robin L. Poole, Alfred G. Hinton, and Jodi F. Morris; along with 7 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
