Ona Mae Wingate

Wingate                                            Ona Mae Wingate, 76, passed away on Wednesday July 28, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 6, 1944 in Dayton, Tennessee, to the late William and Helen (McCoy) Paul and has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Jess “Bunkey” Wingate, son, Scotty Wayne Frasier, Sr., and grandson Scotty Wayne Frasier, Jr., and several brothers and sisters. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include her son, Matthew Wingate (Sheri); daughters, Sherri Lowdenslager (Tiffany), Tracy Rivera (Orlando), and Michelle Wingate; brothers, George Paul and Joe Paul; sisters, Nellie Roberts and Dortha Price; grandchildren, Heather, Chase, Kendall, Dillan, Taylor, Ashlynn, Tristan, Lance, Jesse, Dakota, and Savannah, and many great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday July 31 starting at 11am, follow by the funeral services at 12pm, with Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Interment will be in Anderson Cemetery Jacksonville.
