Paul Ernest Cain

   Paul Ernest Cain, 77, passed away on Tuesday November 1, 2022. He was born in Baxley Georgia in 1945 to the late Eugene and Alma (Kirkland) Cain and has lived in Jacksonville for the past 55 years. Paul was a member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church, he loved fishing, softball, he also coached baseball, and he enjoyed spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Ervin Cain. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Virginia Gayle Cain; sons, Timothy Cain, Scott Cain (Angie), and Chris Cain (Christy); sister Shirley Ellis (Jeff); grandchildren, Kimberly, Brandon, Darren, Macy, Savannah, and Seth, great grandchildren, Riley, Logan, and Riannan, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 7 , 2022 at 11am in Dunns Creek Baptist Church, Jacksonville, with Pastor Dave Malmberg officiating. Interment will immediately follow at  Anderson Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Monday morning at the church starting at 10am.
