Paul Glawson Jeffers

Jeffers – Paul Glawson Jeffers, age 79, passed away on September 17, 2026. He was born on January 9, 1947, to William and Vera Jeffers, in Jacksonville, Florida. Glawson was a long-valued resident of the Oceanway community.  He had a kind heart and genuine nature that led to many meaningful friendships. Glawson was preceded in death by his parents, William and Vera Jeffers; brothers, Edward Jeffers and Myron (Stokey) Jeffers; and sister, Anita Jeffers.

Glawson leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Jo Jeffers; sons, Glawson Lee Jeffers and Greg Jeffers; daughter-in-law, Susan Jeffers; grandchildren, Dallas Jeffers, Brittany Woods, Justin Brown (Elana), and Taylor Jeffers Howe; great-grandchildren, Ember Brown, Luna Brown, Lyric Brown, Bastian Brown, Nyla Dittman, Niles Dittman, Jr., and Gracelynn Faith Howe. Glawson behind a lifetime of memories and the love of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Glawson’s Life will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
