Godron – Peggy Maxine Godron, age 83, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on June 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 7, 1942, to Albert and Helen Roper, in Union, South Carolina. Peggy enjoyed life; dancing, crocheting, soap operas, camping and most of all her treasured time with her grandchildren. Her happiest moments were those spent with family.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Dana Godron Montfort; son-in-law, Brian Montfort; stepsons, Dwayne Godron and Daryl Godron; granddaughter, Arlo Michelle Godron; and great-grandchildren, Christian Ash, Jordan Gordon and Trevin Swann.
A Memorial Service for Peggy will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of CEDAR BAY FUNERAL HOME, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32218. (904) 714-1110.
