Peggy Lee Heaton

  Peggy Lee Heaton, 73, passed away on Sunday February 21, 2021. She was born September 12, 1947 in Hazlehurst, Georgia to the late Leon and Gladys (Herrington) Smith and has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Heaton; sons, Marty Leon Smith and Ray Cortez Reyes. She was a loving mother, sister, Nana, and friend and will be missed by all. Survivors include her son, Norman Ward Crapps; daughter, Susan Harrold (Brian); sister, Betty Jean Lamb; grandchildren, Kelsey Harrold, Shannon Reyes, and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 3pm on Friday, February 26, 2021 in the Chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Elder Floyd Edenfield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
