Obituary

Rebecca (Becky) Diane Nowlin was a loving mother, sister, grandma, and friend. She went home to Jesus on August 22, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 26, 1952, and was the third born oldest girl of nine children. As a free spirited young woman, Becky was like a wildflower, she spent her youth traveling and exploring the United States. She worked in the food and beverage industry for over thirty years and enjoyed meeting and listening to the life stories of her friends and customers. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, riding horses, farming, sitting at the Jetties and relaxing at Alimacani…where she cherished spending time with her family and friends. She was most at home with her toes in the sand. Becky loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Another one of her passions, was rescuing wildlife; and any other wild animal the neighbors brought to her. Becky had a wonderful personality and always had a way of making people laugh.

Becky is survived by her three daughters: Amy Pasquarelli, Kari Long, Amelia Nowlin and son-in-law Ronnie Long; Two sisters: Tina Howard and Dawn Croft; Two brothers: David Bremer and Curtis Bremer; Eight grandchildren: Marty Pasquarelli, Kameron Long, Kyler Long, Kimber Long, Ayiana Langston, Allison Langston, Kendyl Long and Abigail Riddle; longtime partner Howard (Joe) Jones and ex-husband Tommy Nowlin and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was welcomed into heaven by her beautiful mother Doris Metallo, father Curtis Roy Bremer and stepfather John Matallo; sisters; Barbara Hurlbert, April Rich, Vera Sheehan; brother Benjamin Bremer; and granddaughter Elizabeth Pasquarelli; Former Spouses: Dick Pasquarelli and Kieth Kratz.
